ATLANTA’S NEXT GREAT LEGACY MOMENT GEORGIA’S FOUNDING FATHERS INITIATIVE AT CITY HALL: A curated evening honoring visionaries, cultural architects, community builders, & Icon Honoree Teddy Riley

ATLANTA, GA — The city known for shaping culture, commerce, and innovation is preparing for an evening designed to celebrate the people shaping its future. On July 17, 2026, Georgia’s Founding Fathers Initiative will bring together Atlanta’s most influential voices for an exclusive celebration of leadership, legacy, and impact at Atlanta City Hall. Guided by the powerful theme “Honoring Leaders. Building Legacies.”, the invitation-only affair will recognize individuals whose accomplishments extend beyond professional success into meaningful community influence. Founded by Tonita Bybee and Nikiya Bain, the women behind Savvy Girl Consulting, the Georgia’s Founding Fathers Initiative was created as a platform to spotlight extraordinary men whose leadership, entrepreneurship, service, and vision continue to shape Georgia’s cultural and economic landscape.

Tonita Bybee, founder and CEO of Savvy Girl Consulting, is a business owner, brand strategist, educator, and podcast host known for helping individuals and organizations develop stronger identities, amplify their stories, and create lasting impact. Through her work in branding, strategy, and education, Bybee has built a reputation for connecting vision with execution. Joining her in creating this powerful experience is Nikiya Bain, a businesswoman, mother, and advocate for resilience and purpose, whose journey and commitment to community reflect the spirit of leadership at the heart of the initiative. Together, Bybee and Bain are creating more than an event—they are cultivating a room where influence, excellence, and legacy intersect.

This year’s celebration will honor legendary music pioneer Teddy Riley as the 2026 Icon Honoree. Recognized as a music visionary, producer, songwriter, and cultural innovator, Riley’s groundbreaking contributions have transformed global music and inspired generations of creators.
