Soft Opening : Upsid3h3art Studio May 30-31st

May 30-31, 2025 Upsid3h3art Studio is officially having their soft opening at 330 Glenwood Ave in Bloomfield, NJ.

Last week I dropped in on a studio session to congratulate the owner Amanda, whom I’ve worked with over the years! We caught up on what the next chapter is looking like for her.

Ft. Chef Push @push_huechefner

The studio is open to businesses needing content, as well as a variety of creatives!

Have sets you need help building? No problem.

Need a room for a continuous week? Ask about special rates.

Amanda is not just a business owner - she’s a creative herself!

Jewelz:

How long have you been in the creative field and what started your journey?

Amanda:

I have always been creative, because my mom when I was younger was an interior designer.

When we came to America she started sewing clothes and doing other crafts. I watched her do her art and my dad is handy with building.

Growing up around that environment helped me push more into my creativity.

I started getting more into it in 2013 for modeling and got into photography 2017.

Since then the journey continues and I am looking forward to what awaits.”

Jewelz:

How did you go about preparing for this next step in your business?

Amanda:

I believed things that are meant to happen would happen at the right time and date.

I didn’t rush the process.

Every step has been written down and months of processing. The next step for my business is process and step by step.

Jewelz:

You have an independent magazine that launched within the last couple years. What is your mission , and what are a few of your goals?

Amanda:

My mission for Upsid3h3art Magazine is to be more creative with each theme and challenge myself with every Issue and shoot.

Some goals are to work with other creators, but that is still in motion and process.

Jewelz:

As you reflect on the last 5 years of your journey what would you say has inspired you the most to hold steady on your vision?

What has challenged you?

What have you learned about yourself and aspire to uncover or see bloom?

Amanda:

To hold steady on my vision is myself.

The things I want to achieve in life push me more to work towards it.

No one else is going to do it for me, I will have to push myself to get things done.

I learn through everything that life is short and never actually a right time to start anything.

Just get up and start something.

It might not be much, but at least it’s something that will go into your business.

It challenges me to come out of my comfort zone and be out there more.

Jewelz:

You and your partner have taken some major steps in life recently, tell us a bit about how home life affects your craft.

Amanda:

Home life actually helps push my craft.

My biggest supporters are home.

They're the ones that push me and remind me of my goals EVERYDAY.
