The Power Of Two Voices

Born into a world that searched for equality and socially becoming free....

Black Power fist high in the air, always be proud of the skin color that we wear..

One generation and the message that they sent, had men and women in stores buying blowout kits...

An image of Apple hats, Afros and Picks..

With Huey Newton and Angela Davis on every news page, but the media coverage was America's Outraged...

Because the Black Panther Party had a calling and it was found, stimulating our minds to the lyrics of James Brown...

" Say it Loud, I'm Black and I'm Proud"

Even back then, we knew what they meant, if your mind and soul are

chained you become a slave on a ship...

Black Pride was the destiny of the trip, never to be judged by our body of tint..

A replica of the past, that's only God sent, Unity for our people is what it represents...

But still today some view us as fools waiting with patients, for 40 Acres and a Mule..
