We made history on Sunday, for the Mayors' cover reveal! The event was hosted at Pittsburgh Yards, which had ample space for everyone in attendance. It was such an honor to have Mayor Dickens come out & celebrate, while we honored and appreciated his contributions to the progress within small businesses, the arts and recognizing the needs of the much deserving communities in Atlanta.
Guests were greeted by a saxophonist @sax_sationalone & a classy, carefully curated playlist of music by DJ @iamfly_atl. As you walked around the space, you could feel the black excellence exuding from the attendees in the room. We had influencers, photographers, real estate investors, models, actors, designers, PR execs and more just to name a few within the building.
In the City magazine carefully selected their vendors to showcase their products and the food was amazing! @chefjojodavis catered the event with some fresh selections of fruit, salads, a huge charcuterie board with the works and more! Let's not forget the memorable sweets from @stuffedatl & @no.1sweetsbyla ! I'm still looking at the pictures and reminiscing on the taste, they were THAT good.
Mayor Andre Dickens made his debut at the beginning of the event. He casually came in with a small team and his presence came off as genuinely relaxed. He maneuvered through the room shaking hands and taking pictures with guests as he made his way to the main room for the reveal.
It was such an honor to highlight the efforts and contributions made towards the arts and culture that is steadily thriving throughout Atlanta. It was a great feeling to have been a part of history in the making!
