PAP Chanel and Rolling Out Music Deliver an Elevated First Listen Experience in Atlanta

Atlanta’s music and media community gathered on Thursday, May 21, as Rolling Out Music welcomed invited guests to an exclusive first listen for PAP Chanel’s forthcoming album at Rolling Out HQ on English Avenue. Held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the intimate event brought together tastemakers, media outlets, and VIP guests for an evening rooted in music, culture, and conversation. Presented under the #RollingOutMusic and #PAPChanel banners, the atmosphere carried a sophisticated yet authentic Atlanta energy that made the evening feel both exclusive and deeply connected to the city’s creative pulse. Anticipation filled the venue as guests settled in to experience an early listen to PAP Chanel’s latest body of work. More than a routine listening session, the gathering reflected Rolling Out Music’s continued investment in spotlighting influential voices and emerging artistry. With The Jamison Agency as PR for the event, the headquarters transformed into a cultural meeting point where music, media, and storytelling naturally intersected. From arrival to the first track played, the room carried the excitement of witnessing a defining artistic moment.

Before the music and interview began, Rolling Out Music executives Dennis McKinley and Richard Dunn welcomed the audience and set the tone for the evening with opening remarks. Speaking on the importance of platforms that elevate artists and preserve authentic storytelling, both leaders reinforced Rolling Out Music’s role within Atlanta’s entertainment landscape and its commitment to supporting talent like PAP Chanel. Their remarks framed the event as more than an album preview, positioning it as a celebration of artistry and creative independence. Following their introductions, Carrie Michelle took the stage to host an engaging sit-down conversation with PAP Chanel that guided guests through the listening experience. The dialogue created a personal atmosphere where the artist could share insight while allowing the music to lead the evening’s narrative. Guests listened closely as PAP Chanel unveiled an expansive collection of records, each reflecting a different side of her sound and perspective. The combination of executive insight, artist conversation, and curated music gave the night an intentional and polished flow.

The listening session itself became the centerpiece of the evening as PAP Chanel introduced a series of tracks that showcased confidence, vulnerability, and undeniable versatility. Songs including “Author,” “Pretty and Paid,” “Do It,” “Contagious,” “Clean Mudd,” “Goodbye Yesterday,” “Free Game,” “Hard Conversation,” “Money Freak,” and “Do What I Wanna Do” captured the audience’s attention through sharp storytelling and layered production. One standout moment came with “Ride With You” featuring 22 The Bold, produced by Riley, a record that sparked immediate reaction throughout the room. Guests also celebrated “Where You Been,” which officially dropped at midnight, adding excitement and immediacy to the experience. After the listening portion concluded, members of In the City Magazine, Big Break Magazine, and The Progress Report joined the Q&A, asking thoughtful questions that explored PAP Chanel’s creative direction and inspiration behind the music. Catered food and an open bar kept the atmosphere lively as media professionals, executives, and supporters continued networking well beyond the formal program. By the end of the evening, Rolling Out Music had created more than a first listen—it delivered a memorable Atlanta experience that amplified PAP Chanel’s evolving artistry and left guests anticipating what comes next.
